Pumpkin Time

My sister-in-law Suzanne, NB, Colin and I went to Central Market for the giant pumpkin weigh-off. It's a fun event with quite a few extended family members in the competition.

Standing in the middle of the picture is my cousin Brad (Walter's son) looking over his giant pumpkin. On the right side is his wife Stephanie and their very cute son Jacob. Behind Stephanie is Breanna, who was the first place junior giant pumpkin grower at the Puyallup State Fair! You go Breanna! Her dad Ron had a pumpkin at the weigh-off too.

This is Walter's pumpkin which took third place at 1,024 pounds. He was very sad because of his light pumpkin, but seriously over 1,000 pounds is still really good! I am proud of all of my pumpkin growing relatives!

NB posing on front of the small pumpkins.

Colin being contained in the shopping cart with a few pumpkins.

We went to The Farm, a pumpkin farm in Snohomish. If was a fun day and the kids had a blast going in the hay maze, corn maze, farm playground, eating hot dogs and drinking hot apple cider and don't forget the MOST amazing cinnamon roll!

The kids going on the cow train with our friends and neighbors Parker and Sophie!

We went through the 12 acre corn maze which is in the shape of Washington State! It was fun.

That's a whole lot of corn! No Children of the Corn stories next time. Creepy.

The Grump of the Year sign! NB trying with her grumpy face, which is a real stretch for her. She is not a grumpy girl.

Princess Tea

We went to Afternoon tea with NB and her friend. They had a lovely time sipping hot chocolate, eating sorbet, cookies, fruit and crustless sandwiches, of course! I had my favorite-Cornish Pasty and Lady Grey Creme tea. It was a lovely afternoon. After we went to the best eco toy store Planet Happy! Shhh....I may have bought a skein of yarn at Acorn Street. What a perfect day! Friends, tea, good food, toys and YARN.

Colin's First Day of School

I am VERY behind on my blogging once again! Colin on his first day of school. He was so excited about going to school and getting on the bus. He loves school and is talking more and more every day.

This is what happens when you have an older sister that does ballet! Poor Colin. Actually, he loved every minute of it!
